What? A 7 day workout challenge!
Just you, your partner, and your Shakti Warrior mat. This Valentine's Day let's commit to staying fit together. Because nothing says I love you more than I support and encourage you to be your best self.
Duration: 7 days
Equipment: Bodyweight and a yoga mat (preferably a Shakti warrior yoga mat for added cushioning and support)
Rules:
- Both partners must commit to the challenge and hold each other accountable.
- Each day, both partners must complete the assigned workout together.
- The workout will consist of bodyweight exercises that can be done at home using only a yoga mat.
- The workout will increase in difficulty each day.
- Take a progress picture at the start of the challenge and another at the end to track progress.
Workout plan:
- Day 1: 3 sets of 12 Push-ups, 3 sets of 12 Squats, 3 sets of 12 Plank to Push-up
- Day 2: 3 sets of 15 Lunges (each leg), 3 sets of 15 Sit-ups, 3 sets of 15 Russian Twists
- Day 3: 3 sets of 12 Dips, 3 sets of 12 Jumping Jacks, 3 sets of 12 Burpees
- Day 4: 3 sets of 15 Supermans, 3 sets of 15 Reverse Crunches, 3 sets of 15 Leg Raises
- Day 5: 3 sets of 12 Pull-ups (or assisted Pull-ups), 3 sets of 12 Tuck Jumps, 3 sets of 12 Mountain Climbers
- Day 6: 3 sets of 15 Yoga Sun Salutation Sequence, 3 sets of 15 Yoga Warrior Sequence, 3 sets of 15 Yoga Tree Pose
- Day 7: 3 sets of 12 Yoga Plank Pose, 3 sets of 12 Yoga Downward-Facing Dog, 3 sets of 12 Yoga Upward-Facing Dog
Note: Exercising on our mat will add extra cushioning and support for your joints, making it more comfortable and safe to perform bodyweight exercises.
